MAOn this day those at Digital Tribe Games stand high upon a virtual hill to proclaim unto the world great news - TinyKeep is coming!įorged from the heat of pure passion by indie studio Phigames, TinyKeep is a Dungeon Escaping Action RPG with emergent creature AI unlike any seen before it. However they've sent us a press release on the upcoming release date of the game.ĭIGITAL TRIBE & PHIGAMES BRING BIG GAMEPLAY IN TINYKEEP THIS FALLĮSCAPE THE DUNGEON IN THIS ACTION RPG WITH FRIGHTENINGLY INTELLIGENT MONSTERS We were following Tinykeep while it was running on Kickstarter, but lost track a bit after that. Please take a look and consider purchasing if you would like to see Will continue to make more amazing music. We're mega proud of the game's music, so it's good to be able to finally condense it all into a tidy little album.

So my composer Will Bedford dropped this into my inbox this morning, a fully mastered version of the TinyKeep Original Soundtrack! Now available to purchase on Bandcamp. He also announced the games soundtrack is now available for purchase. I'll be back with more specific details on the release, but for now, enjoy the trailer and look forward to the playing it very soon! I'll be brief as I still have a lot of marketing to do in the next few days, but we're going to be releasing TinyKeep on Steam (Windows version first, with other platforms soon to follow) sometime at the end of September. Hi everyone! Sorry for not being as active on the blogs as I normally am, but we've all been mega hard at work crunching for the imminent release - and for this little video. The devloper of TinyKeep Phi Dinh released a new gameplay trailer last week. There is a great skeleton for a fun adventure game here but as things stand TinyKeep doesn’t aspire to be anything more than it is, and that’s a shame. Had this release been the first in a new Early Access title we would have been genuinely excited to see what the outcome would be. We have to reiterate that there isn’t much wrong with what is on offer here, our issue is that it is much too simplified. I would recommend it to those that have exhausted other games in this genre and are looking for another challenge. There are better roguelikes out there that have permadeath but manage that balance between gameplay malfunctions and player error. It could be improved by tightening up that control scheme. It’s strange in a game that expects the player to be precise and careful. TinyKeep is a fun enough title but It’s seems to be in an awkward position of being too haphazard and random in it’s style. Aside from that this game is definitely a game that most people should play, as tons of fun can be had and it can even be challenging in such a way that the game has its replay value. Overall, the game has almost no flaws, except that enemies are sometimes too similar, no quick save is available or that the game might be a little too short. Here is a small roundup of reviews for the recently released TinyKeep.
